Tracerco Europe achieves Danish compliance with online training
Tracerco, a global leader in advanced measurement and diagnostic solutions for the oil, gas, and process industries, was preparing to apply for a license to perform gammametry in Denmark. As part of the application process, the Danish Radiation Protection Authorities required documentation showing how the company’s Radiation Protection Officers (RPOs) would be trained in national requirements.
We developed and delivered a custom 3-hour online course for 33 engineers and RPO’s for Tracerco Europe
To meet this need, a custom 3-hour online course was developed and delivered to 33 engineers and Radiation Protection Officers (RPO’s). The training focused specifically on the Danish legal framework, requirements, and procedures related to the use of sealed radioactive sources and industrial measurement applications.
It was designed to be directly applicable to Tracerco’s operational context, and fully compliant with the requirements set by the Danish Health Authority (Sundhedsstyrelsen).

This is how we did it
We know how tough it can be to sit in front of a screen for hours, especially when the topic is national radiation protection law.
That’s why the course was designed with an active didactic approach to keep participants engaged and alert.
We used quizzes and live polls throughout the session to break up the content, reinforce key points, and create interaction despite the online format.
The result? High engagement and great feedback from participants who appreciated learning without feeling overwhelmed.
We made a measurable difference
Tracerco was able to demonstrate compliance with the requirements of the Danish Radiation Protection Authority (SIS) and successfully obtain their license to carry out important and high-value operations in Denmark.
This kind of targeted session can easily be adapted for other international companies needing to comply with Danish radiation protection rules.
